We were pleased to welcome a couple of guests to our committee meeting this week.
During the course of the meeting the daughters of Neville Tranter – Helen Scott-Reed and Allison Jackson, made a presentation to APCA on behalf of their family.
GKR Karate are running a special offer this summer at The Hub!
Our long-standing Yoga instructor has recently finished running sessions at The Hub and we think there may be a gap in the market.
Whilst the cafe is not a commercial operation, it makes an important contribution to the charity's annual income and requires dedicated volunteers in order to continue supporting the our ongoing success and financial stability.

Ann Wood’s family have confirmed the details of her funeral:
“Mom’s funeral has been set for Thursday December 20th at St Thomas’s Church, Wednesfield at 10.15am. We will then be going to Bushbury crematorium for her interment at 11.15am.
All family and friends will then be welcome to attend The Hub at Ashmore Park for food and drinks.
We request family flowers only, but if you would like to donate, all gifts will be kindly received and passed on to various projects at The Hub where Mom spent many happy years. Thank you.”

Everyone at Ashmore Park CA / The Hub is deeply saddened by the news that our longstanding Chairwoman Ann Wood passed away last week.
The art and photography groups who meet regularly at The Hub will be holding a 2 day exhibition in November showcasing the talent we have in the local community.
